Academy player Charlie Carter signs for First Team

Woking Football Club is pleased to announce that 19-year-old midfielder Charlie Carter has signed contractual forms for the forthcoming season.

Charlie has come through the ranks of the Woking Academy system, and manager Garry Hill is delighted with Charlie’s progress during the past year: “Charlie thoroughly deserves this opportunity, he has shown he has the quality and maturity beyond his years to play a major part in the future of this football club.’’

Head of Community Jane Spong said: “I am delighted Charlie has been given a first team contract, it is thoroughly deserved, he has been a model apprentice this past year, and this sends out a message to all academy players that if you work hard and remain patient, the rewards will come�.
