Woking’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round Match

Nick Shaw - 4th December 2018

Woking’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round Match Following yesterday’s exciting draw, pitching the Cards against Premier League Watford, there is clearly much for the club to do in terms of arranging the game - not least establishing the permissible ground capacity, FA segregation requirements, Watford’s ticket allocation and getting tickets printed for what will hopefully be a sell out event.

The Board is in the process of setting up an organising committee which will convene on Thursday, once we have hopefully received some steer on some of the above issues from the relevant authorities.

The club’s priority will obviously be to try to devise a fair method of ticket allocation that gives priority to our regular supporters and we would hope to be in a position to communicate this on Friday. In the meantime you may want to hold onto your Swindon ticket stubs as we consider further, and keep Saturday 15th December free as we will obviously be considering putting in place a voucher system based on attendance at our games running up to the Watford game once priority tickets have been allocated.

On the basis of the above we would respectfully ask that fans avoid phoning the club in the interim.
