The Cards gained a 1-1 draw at the Recreation Ground this evening but in the most extraordinary circumstances.
With a few minutes to go Matt Pattison 'passed' the ball to the Blues' keeper Ross Flitney after a stoppage, but Flitney was out of his goal and missed the ball. A goal was awarded but then Frank Gray sportingly ordered his team to allow Grays to equalise - Ben Watson obliged.
But in a final twist Flitney brought down Marvin Morgan - only to save Danny Bunce's penalty.
Full report to follow from John Moore.
