Woking Football Club is delighted to announce Sam Loxton as a Director appointment to the WFC Board.
Sam is heavily involved in local youth football and is also a sponsor of the Cards through his company, Lucas Rarities. As we enter an exciting phase Sam brings commitment, an infectious energy, fresh ideas and a passion for Woking FC.
Sam comments: “I am thrilled to have been asked to join the board of Woking FC. Since moving here in 2012 I have been involved with local grassroots football in the area and that has reignited my passion for the game. Having run a wholesale and retail business for the past 12 years I am hoping to transfer these skills to the club and help with the development of the commercial aspects including sponsorship and retail sales. With knowledge gained from the grassroots football in the local community I am also hoping to assist with the Cardinals in the Community development, maintaining the excellent connections Woking FC have established in the community.
Certainly Woking FC are entering a new and extremely exciting stage in its history and I am proud to have been invited to join in this journey alongside the Chairman, Directors, Trustees and fans to deliver the club we are all striving for. The club is reliant on the small staff we have and the tireless work they, our loyal volunteers and fans do and I am looking forward to putting my energies into the continued development and growth of Woking FC.
