Woking FC were so saddened to hear that long term fan Dan Hall passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 19th.
Born in Woking, Dan was Woking FC to the core and attended every game – home or away, sunshine or rain with his beloved daughter Jess; the Halls were always a regular fixture in the Geoff Chapple Lounge. Dan is also survived by his mother Sheila, brother Andrew and sister Jenny.
Andrew recalls ‘ we have so many great memories but I recall us reminiscing long into the night about the special game when Woking came back from 2 – 0 down to beat Wealdstone in the promotion semi-final; a day never to be forgotten. Dan will never be forgotten and we will always love him.’
We are honoured to be joined by Sheila, Jesse and Andrew in the Geoff Chapple Lounge on Saturday and there will be a minutes applause for Dan before kick off.
Dan’s funeral will be in October and details will be made available in due course.
