John Munn 1948 – 2024
Woking Football Club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing away, after a short illness, of John Munn.
John was a regular supporter, home and away, for many years and was particularly well known as a supporters’ coach regular. He was so proud of the Cards, and some of his most memorable highlights were attending the Wembley Trophy finals in the 1990s with his family, followed by the open-top bus parades. In his last hours in Woking Hospice, John asked for his Woking scarves and listened to the match commentary with his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with John’s family and friends at this sad time.
John's funeral is on Monday 23rd December at Woking Crematorium at 16:00. We will also be remembering John at our mid-season memorial game on January 18th.
