YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU

May I first say a big thank you for all the volunteers I spoke to on Monday at the Salisbury game. The questionnaires I handed out are vitally important for the club and for you, please note also to put your contact details on to the sheet so I can get back to you with the feedback and any action plan that may be taken from your responses.
If you don't currently volunteer for the club, do please read on as there may be some parts of this message that interest you.
As for those who volunteer at the club but I haven't spoken to yet, can you please email me at the address below, or leave your details in the club shop. It doesn't matter whether this is writing articles for the programme, cleaning up after games, assistance with the Supporters Club, or help in any shape or form. I am hoping to get some feedback from you on what you do for the club, when you do it, where you think the club needs help, where you may need assistance in your role, and any suggestions you may have for the Fans Army we are compiling.
As you all most probably are aware of, WFC would not be able to function without the huge effort put into the club by volunteers. In just the one week I have been working at the club, I am taken aback by the sheer number of those who help out in some form or another. We are hoping to get some form of organisation to this help, to bring on board those who feel they can give service to the club, but may have been reluctant to previously come forward for one reason or another, and to carry out the tasks the club may need help with but don't currently have the capabilities to do so.
We want to use the talent and abilities that are currently on offer inside the club in the form of volunteers, on offer from the fans of the club, and on offer in the town's people to push forward Woking FC and have it structured well enough to cope with anything that comes our way. (We hope this being promotions, redevelopment and the great rewards of all of our community work)
If you fancy your hand at some programme articles, if you have expertise in any form of trade or business, if you want to help scrub up the ground and improve its image and facilities, or want to get involved with the club but don t know where to start, please give me an email, or ring the club with your details. We would love to hear from you, get you involved with your club, and get a scheme in place which can benefit the club and you.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you.
