Brian Caffarey - 28th February 2009

3pm on Saturday 28 February 2009

Come on down to Kingfield this afternoon for what promises to be one of the best games of the season. Table-toppers Burton Albion haven?t lost a league match since October but the Cards, boosted by new signings, are desperate for points to avoid the drop. Anything could happen!

The Cards can be expected to give home debuts to new signings Micah Hyde, Kelvin Bossman and Joe Anderson. Colin Miles should be fit to return and Joel Ledgister and Patrice Konan are back from suspension. The bad news is that top scorer Wilfried Domoraud is injured and is expected to miss the game.

For a full preview of the game and highlights of today?s very readable matchday programme, see news postings to the right.

Let?s give a warm welcome too to the Viking Cardinals, supporters from Norway who are sponsoring today?s game, along with Woking?s very own Beer O?Clock Crew. I hope Geoff Chapple ? and Scott Steele, Lol Batty and Lloyd Wye ? who are joining them in the Sponsor?s Lounge are up for it!

Come on, you Cards!
