Woking FC are aware that there have been some negative comments about the fact that the Club will not be hosting the Combined Counties Cup Final this year. The Directors would like to explain the background to this matter.

Despite the Club having a booking for a party in its main hall that evening, it had assured the League that the Club?s Legends Bar would be open to supporters as well as making available the Boardroom and the Sponsor?s Lounge. The Club assured the League that it had put measures in place to enable it to distinguish between persons attending the party and those there for the match. It was the League?s decision to find an alternative venue.
