Harry Rose

John Moore - 25th January 2010

Harry Rose It is with deep sadness and regret that Woking Football Club has to announce the passing away of former goalkeeper, Harry Rose, who played for the Cards in the 1960s.

Everyone connected with the club wishes to send their sincere condolences to his wife Sheila, family and relatives.

His daughter Carolynn has specifically asked us to inform you that the funeral will be held at Woking Crematorium on Thursday 28th January at 10.15 and anyone who wishes to attend is very welcome to do so. Afterwards, everyone will convene to the Red Lion in Horsell High Street and, again, Harry’s family would be delighted to see as many of Harry’s friends and acquaintances as possible.

The funeral will be flowers only but anyone wishing to make a donation can do so to the family’s chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation.
