Andy Morgan - 14th July 2008

David Hemley, Woking Football Club Commercial Director, along with Commercial Manager Andy Morgan, unveiled the new main club and shirt sponsor, Calor Gas, at the press conference held at Kingfield Stadium on Tuesday 15 July 2008.

David Hemley said that Woking FC are looking forward to building an even closer working relationship with Ca

lor Gas in the future. This is a great deal for the Football Club at an exciting time in the Club?s history.

The deal, over a two year period, was very competitive with other offers available to the Club and will be worth in excess of ?60,000 to Woking FC.

Calor Gas Centre at Guildford is one of the largest wholesale distributors of Calor Gas Products in the country.

They keep a comprehensive range of all LPG parts and equipment and have a full showroom of gas cookers, gas barbeques, patio heaters and all LPG related equipment.

Alongside Calor Gas they are a big agent for the American Gas Company, Air Products, and recently were awarded not only the Agent of the Year for Great Britain but Agent of the Year for the whole of Europe, which is a tremendous achievement for a local company.

Calor Gas Centre at Guildford have been very proud to be associated with Woking Football Club for many years and it is a fitting partnership that both Calor Gas Centre and Woking Football Club were able to agree this sponsorship for the next two years, which is beneficial to both parties.

Calor Gas will appear on all the Club's matchday shirts for a two-year period, which ties in with the introduction of three new kits for the same period.

The new kits will be available to supporters on Saturday 19th July 2008, the date of Neil Smith's benefit match.
