Giuseppe Sole Testimonial Match - Tuesday 20th December Woking Football Club is delighted to announce that a testimonial match for Giuseppe Sole will take place at The Laithwaite Community Stadium on Tuesday 20th December, 7pm kick off.

The first half will see a Woking FC First Team squad take to the pitch, with Woking FC Legends playing in the second half. AFC Bournemouth will be the opponents for the match, with the Premier League side bringing their first team squad, which we’re extremely grateful to the Cherries for.

Admission for the match will be £12 for Adults & Concessions and £5 for Under 16s, with proceeds going to a good cause, Cards’ Legend Gez Sole!

Gez has been a wonderful servant to the Cards since his debut for the first team on Saturday 12th August 2006, and before that in the club’s academy. He went on to play for the England C team and in total made 352 appearances for Woking, scoring 111 goals, including some spectacular free kicks and crucial match winning goals.

The Woking FC Legends playing in the second half of the testimonial will include Neil Smith, Ian Selley, Gary MacDonald, Tom Hutchinson, Aaron Howe, Jerome Maledon, Goma Lambu, Kevin Betsy, Adam Newton, John Nutter, Mark Ricketts, Alan Inns and Adam Doyle. Also playing will be former Wigan Athletic, Fulham & Hull City star Jimmy Bullard. With a few more names to be confirmed!!

So come along to The Laithwaite Community Stadium on Tuesday 20th December for what is sure to be a fantastic evening! Let’s give Giuseppe the send-off he deserves!
