Woking Football Club start their 2017/18 Vanarama National League season with a home match against Gateshead on Saturday 5th August, 3pm kick off, at The Laithwaite Community Stadium.
This is followed by a trip to play-off runners up Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday 8th August, 7.45pm kick off.
The festive double-header this season is once again away to Aldershot Town on Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December, with the Shots visiting the Laithwaite Community Stadium on New Year’s Day, Monday 1st January.
The Cards’ last league match of the season, on Saturday 28th April, is at home to Dover Athletic.
Anthony Limbrick on the starting with a home match against Gateshead: “I think it’s a good draw, in terms of getting the first game at home, I think it’s good for the fans to have the first match at home. I think it’s a tough team, Gateshead will be up in and around the play-off spots, but it’s a long way to travel for them, and we’ll be ready and prepared for that game. A home game is definitely a positive for the fans and the players.�
