Last week, Woking Football Club's manager, Alan "Dowse" Dowson, ran a staggering 100 laps of the pitch at The Laithwaite Community Stadium, to raise money to support two of the first team squad who are currently out injured.
The fundraising target is £3000, and thanks to the kind & generous donations we're less than 10% to go until the target has been reached!
Christian Jolley has been troubled since a pre-season injury and he's trying one last procedure to get back fit to play for the Cards. Kane Ferdinand has been struggling with a knee injury, which he's now had the operation for.
Dowse commented: "We’ve really struggled with ongoing injuries and the Club have offered great support throughout but I really want to do that little bit myself to help Christian and Kane get moving forward as quickly as possible. The quicker we can get them back the greater our chance of doing well as the season moves on. Every donation will make a difference and go fully to the cause."
Thank you for your continued help throughout this season, Dowse, his coaching staff, the Board, and the players really appreciate every bit of support.
