Left-sided central defender who is strong on the ground and in the air. Adapted impressively last season to the full-time game and is expected to be a linchpin of the defence this campaign.

He joined the Swans from neighbours Walton Casuals, making his senior debut against Sutton United in the Surrey Senior Cup in January 2003. He made his 100th senior appearance for Swans in the Surrey Senior Cup Final at the end of 2004-05, when he was voted Swans’ Player of the Year. He missed a large part of 2005/06 with a serious knee injury, but went on to make over 150 appearances for Walton & Hersham. Made his Cards debut on 24 March 2007 in the home game against Southport and was voted Man of the Match. Subsequent impressive performances resulted in a two-year contract in the summer of 2006. Agile shot-stopper who is quick off his line.

Matt Gray Midfield
D.O.B. 07.01.84. Matt signed for the Cards in May 2007 from Sutton United on a two-year contract. He was a prolific striker at reserve and youth level and was the youngest player for 24 years to play for the Sutton senior side when he made his debut at Farnborough in January 2001, the day before his 17th birthday. At the end of that season he was the first winner of the Young Player of the Year award and, after spending three months on loan at Tooting, he returned to Sutton to establish himself in the first team squad. Voted Player of the Year by the Sutton Supporters' Club and Junior Supporters' Club in 2004 and 2005, he also won the Football Club award and represented the FA against the Ryman League. He made his 300th appearance for Sutton on Boxing Day 2006. Has played for the Cards mostly in midfield but also at right back.

Formerly with Sutton United and Fulham before joining Dundee in August 2002, making some 40 starts in an injury-blighted three-year spell. Promising early displays in central defence quickly earned him a Kingfield contract. Very strong in the air, both in defence and attack, and won three hugely-deserved Player of the Season awards for 2006/07. Signed a two-year deal in May 2007 to the delight of the Woking faithful and now captains the side.

After leaving the New Den he spent a short period with Mansfield and also had spells with a number of sides outside the Football League before joining the Cards in pre-season training. Impressed in a number of pre-season matches before signing on non-contract terms in August 2006, followed by a full-time contract in September 2006. Central defender Paul began his career at Erith & Belvedere and then Welling United, before moving to Braintree Town in 2004, where he made over 100 appearances, winning the Ryman Premier Division in the process. A £3,000 transfer to Fisher Athletic resulted before a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon for a month after recovering from a hand injury. A permanent deal to take Paul to Kingsmeadow soon followed and he looked likely to stay with AFC before being offered a chance of full-time football with the Cards for the 2007/08 season. Signed on a two-year deal in June 2007. Classy, determined, defender who has formed a strong partnership with Tom Hutchinson and Jay Gasson.

He started his career at the Reading Academy before joining Cambridge for a three month spell. Made 18 appearances, mostly off the substitutes’ bench, scoring three goals. Opted to move to Woking despite being offered a month’s extension with the U’s and made a positive impact during the final few games of the season before accepting a two-year deal in May 2007. Has good turn of pace and an eye for goal.

Marvin Morgan Forward
D.O.B. 18.04.83. Marvin joined Woking on a two-year contract from Hayes and Yeading FC in June 2007. He joined Yeading at the start of November 2004 for a small fee from Wealdstone, where he had progressed rapidly from the youth ranks to a regular first team place. Had attracted lots of attention from professional clubs and his signing was a major coup for the Ding. Made his Yeading debut at home to Croydon in the FA Trophy and was Yeading's leading scorer in the 2006/7 season with 25 goals in total, including 19 league goals. Marked his Cards' debut with a stunning individual goal in the first game of last season. Tricky, pacy, awkward striker, who caused problems for lots of defences last season. After impressing in the PASE side, then the reserves, he made an assured first-team debut from the bench at Waltham Forest in April 2004. Spent time on a soccer scholarship in the USA before returning to the Ding at the start of 2006. Hard-working, strong midfielder with terrific stamina who provides great defensive cover.

Manny began his career at Notts County and Millwall, representing England Schools. Subsequent moves took him to Concord Rangers, Bowers United, Leyton, Yeading – where his team mates included Marvin Morgan and Bradley Quamina – Leyton again and Maidenhead United. Has a reputation as a very quick, skilful striker and the Cards had to fight off stiff competition to gain his signature.
