Woking vs Hemel Hempstead Town
FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round Replay
Tuesday 17th October 2023
19:45 Kick-Off

Woking will hope to progress to the First Round Proper of the FA Cup on Tuesday night when they host Hemel Hempstead Town in a fourth qualifying round replay.

After nothing could separate the two sides on Saturday at Vauxhall Road, Darren Sarll will hope that his side can break their home form hoodoo; Woking are winless at the Laithwaite since late August. The Cards have made the first round in five of the last seven seasons, whilst their opponents haven't made it in nine seasons.

Around the Ground
Ticket details are available here.

All home supporters wishing to purchase tickets upon arrival should utilise gate one (Kingfield Road turnstiles) to enter tonight’s match.

Turnstile one will be offering cash and card payments. Turnstile two will also be offering cash and card payments.

There will be no restrictions on migration between the Seymours Community Stand, Moaners Corner, the Jewson Family Stand and the MKJ Kingfield Road End.

Please ensure not to occupy any seat labelled 'reserved' for our season ticket holders.

Supporters with tickets purchased in advance may enter through either gate one or gate four (Westfield Avenue).

For those who have purchased their tickets online, and wish to enter through the Kingfield Road turnstiles, we ask that you use the following turnstiles based on your ticket colour:

Turnstile three for Red (Seymours Community Stand) and Orange (Moaners Corner).

Turnstile four for Blue (KRE) and Yellow (Family Stand).

For Green and VIP entry, please enter through the gatehouse as per usual.

Additional scanners will be located on the pedestrian gate adjacent to turnstile four to expedite entry for all pre-purchased tickets.

Away fans will enter as normal at gate two.

It has been agreed that home supporters will be allowed to migrate from stand to stand during the match, but the Club reserves the right to cap capacity in the MKJ Kingfield Road End.

Opposition Watch
Bobby Quinton's side were excellent on Saturday, and their man of the match Kyle Ajayi; a 23 year old defender who combines football with a career in engineering will be hoping to help shut out the Woking attack once again. It should also be noted that the Tudors are now unbeaten in 10 games across league and cup, as they look to join the three National League South sides already through to the first round.

The winner of this game pockets £9,375 with that going up to £41,000 for the winner of the first round tie, so along with the prestige of playing in the proper competition, there is a chance to make some serious money, as the Cards found out on their run to the third round in 2018/19.

Potential First Round tie
The victors of Tuesday night's replay will be rewarded with a trip to Ramsgate on the weekend of November 3rd. The Rams, who are currently 14th in the Isthmian League South East division, could be the lowest ranked side left in the draw should Sheppey United fail to beat Billericay in their replay, but amazingly both Ramsgate and Sheppey have played just three league games this season.

Ramsgate have actually played 14 games in all competitions so far this season, and will have at least seven games in hand on some teams in their own division by the time the first round is complete, with Ben Smith's side also still in the FA Trophy, where ironically they beat Sheppey in the third qualifying round. Having already won six games to get to the first round, it's an incredible achievement for the side along the Kent coast, and they will be a tough opponent for either the Cards or Tudors.
