Woking Football Club are extremely proud to confirm that the Geoff Chapple Lounge, sponsored by Laithwaites Financial Services, will be officially opened by Geoff on Saturday 6 September, prior to the game against Lincoln City. As supporters know, a considerable amount of work has gone on over the summer to provide a state of the art facility, which is available to all, by arrangement, on match days.
In addition, Cardinals Catering will be open for business under the LGS. Fish & Chips WILL be on the menu, cooked by our new Head Chef, Steve Tremblay, whose previous role was Head Chef at McLaren. Steve is bringing a new menu and a whole new approach to matchday catering. Come and give it a try!
Geoff Chapple said: “I am very proud to be opening the new Lounge at Woking on Saturday. I am particularly pleased that the 'old' Sponsors’ lounge team of David Bird, Lauren Horncastle, Denise Watts, and David Horncastle, along with my daughter Lucy, will be able to join me on this prestigious occasion. A huge amount of time and effort has gone into its creation and I am thrilled to have such a superb asset for the club named after me. I encourage all supporters, if they can, to give it a try and book a match in the Lounge, where they will be looked after by myself and the club’s commercial team, and will be able to sample Steve Tremblay’s top class matchday catering. I also want to encourage all supporters to try out Steve’s take away food from under the LGS. Football clubs providing top quality catering are few in number, but Woking are about to join their ranks. Give it a try!”
Supporters are assured that the LGS will be open and seating fully available as usual for those who choose to watch the match from there.
