As ever Christmas is going to be full on at Woking and everyone can play their part. Over the years we have hosted several large-scale carol events as well as numerous visits to the children’s wards at local hospitals and hospices.
This year the plans are:-
Saturday December 7th @ the Hartlepool game - Hospital bucket collection
All the proceeds from this collection will go directly to buy toys and gifts for the children at St Peters and the Royal Surrey Hospitals. In addition the players and management will have their own whip round to make sure we get a good amount for toys. Any new toys can also be donated at the reception office (the old shop).
Anyone who can help shake a bucket please email
ian.nicholson@wokingfc.co.uk – the more the merrier.
Sunday December 8th - Carols at the Club with management and players
A multifaceted community event for all ages with carols, great music, readings, games, interviews, Christmas words, mince pies and an open bar! The doors open at 5.30pm, kick-off is 6pm and after 7.30pm there will be a chance for a final drink and chat with the players.
The event is free and all are welcome but to keep a handle on numbers you will need to get a free ticket through this link -

Wednesday December 11th - Hospital visits by the players
This is the day all the money is spent and the kids at hospitals meet the players. It is always a moving and memorable time – with a lot of laughter and also tears as well.
It’s going to be a great Christmas – on and off the pitch!
Thank you for all your support.
