Matchday Guide and Entry Details | Oxford United (H)

Daniel O'Sullivan
2:32pm, Tue 15th Nov 2022
Entry details are now available for the upcoming home Emirates FA Cup First Round tie against Oxford United.

The match will be played on Wednesday 16th November with a 19:45 kick-off at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

Ticket prices are at a discounted rate of £18 for Adults, Concessions £13, Next-Gen £10, and just £5 for Under 16s when pre-purchased online. Season Ticket holders will need to purchase tickets for this match as Season Tickets are valid exclusively for Vanarama National League fixtures.

This match will be segregated, with Oxford United fans being allocated 1150 tickets including standing in the Chris Lane Terrace and some seats in the Seymours Community Stand. Oxford United are managing away ticket sales through their own channels.

We highly encourage advance purchase of tickets. Pre-purchased tickets are £2 less expensive than those purchased at the gate in an effort to keep tickets affordable and reduce queue times at our turnstiles. This £2 premium applies to all tickets excluding Under 16s tickets which will remain at £5. This applies to both home and away tickets.

Refunds, as communicated in previous releases, were available up to 15:00 on Tuesday 15th November for both home and away fans. They are not eligible after this time.

Please note that online tickets will go off sale at 17:00 on match day.

If you require a carer ticket, please contact tickets@wokingfc.co.uk and we can add the extra ticket to your order.

The Club provides an update to both home and away supporters on entry details and the activities at the Laithwaite Community Stadium in the run-up to the match.

General details for all supporters

All fans are advised to arrive early due to additional security screenings. Bottle tops will be removed upon entry and at catering outlets, and all prohibited items will be confiscated upon entry - this includes umbrellas.

All fans are advised to read our Ground Rules and Regulations for fan behaviour at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

The Laithwaite Community Stadium now operates predominantly as a card-only venue. A limited number of turnstiles and food outlets will continue to operate with cash.

The Laithwaite Community Stadium does not permit supporters to carry in drums or musical instruments at any time.

Details for home fans
Gate one (Kingfield Road) and gate four (Westfield Avenue) open at 18:00.

For those in hospitality, the Geoff Chapple Lounge also opens at 18:00.

Cardinals Bar and the Fan Zone both open at 18:00. One queue in the bar will be operating with cash.

Details for away fans
Please arrive early. Ticketing for seating and standing will be separate, and therefore away fans will be hand-stamped upon entry to ensure capacities are maximised and consistent with directives from our safety officer.

The Club is in the process of refurbishing the away catering operation. As such, hot and cold food options will be available but will be limited. Hot and cold drinks, and confectioneries, are available, but alcohol is not.

The terraced area of the away end, the Chris Lane Terrace, is uncovered. Large umbrellas are not permitted.

Parking
There will be no additional parking available at the ground on matchday as all spaces in our car park have been allocated. For those fans wishing to drive to the match, please park in our designated car park, Heathside Crescent, GU22 7AG.
