Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Matt Robinson.
The midfielder, 29, will join the Cards from Dagenham & Redbridge on 1st July, on a two-year deal through to the end of the 2024/25 season.
Matt came through the ranks at Leicester City, before moving on to Luton Town in 2012. In four years at the Hatters, he made 46 league appearances and was part of the 2013/14 squad that won the then-Conference Premier title.
Robinson made 26 National League appearances for Woking on loan in 2015/16, after spells at Kidderminster Harriers and Grimsby Town. He moved to Dagenham & Redbridge in the summer of 2016, making over 250 appearances in seven seasons at Victoria Road and captaining the side in 2022/23.

“Matt has shown many times over the past three seasons the qualities and attributes reflective of our style of play,” said Manager Darren Sarll.
“He’s a very efficient, forward-thinking midfield player who at his best can provide real assistance in the goalscoring charts, with good timing of his runs in and around the box.
“Matt is a player who’s already had leadership responsibilities, being a captain at his former club. This is a big signing for us,” Sarll added.
