Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the extension of Jermaine Anderson’s contract on a deal through to the end of the 2023/24 season.
The midfielder, 27, continues his rehabilitation from his achilles injury suffered away to Chesterfield in February and will re-join the first team upon his successful recovery.
Anderson first joined in December 2021 and has made 49 appearances for the Club. Jermaine has played more than 100 matches in the EFL – including 97 League One appearances for Peterborough United.

“Jermaine was a big influence on last year's ascent. His improvement, receptiveness and wonderful open-minded mentality ensured he performed above and beyond his last few years of his career,” said Manager Darren Sarll.
“With this in mind - and despite his current injury - I am delighted that this Football Club treats players and people like Jermaine with loyalty and kindness and have extended his contract. This extension allows Jermaine to rehabilitate in a timely fashion whilst under contract. John and Drew deserve so much credit for acting in this way as many Clubs that I know - and have worked for - would not have acted so professionally and with the player's well-being at heart.
“It’ll be great to have the ‘NEW’ Jermaine Anderson back when he has regained full fitness,” Sarll added.
