Ahead of the 2023/24 season, the Club is pleased to announce the launch of its digital matchday programme and limited-edition print collectables.

Following consultation with supporters, the Club has decided to move away from printed matchday programmes and enter the age of interactive digital programmes.

Digital programmes will be available for all league and cup matches and will be offered free of charge to all fans to access 24 hours before kick-off on the Club website. These will still include all the award-winning content of seasons prior and new, innovative features. The Club will also post QR codes around the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

“We are excited to offer this new, free interactive matchday programme to supporters and Club partners,” said Commercial Director Nick Bavin. “All the usual Club content, stadium guide and matchday insight will be accessible ahead of the game from your favourite device.

“Club partners will enjoy more interactive tools such as videos and links for fans to go straight to your social pages or website, making this a valuable new tool for all parties to engage with the Club and its partners,” Bavin added.

The digital programmes allow greater scope in terms of the content delivered such as the option to include video and interactive quizzes, along with greater value for our commercial partners with clickable links and interactive advertisements.

As part of the move to digital, the Club has reserved the opportunity for one-off printed programmes to be produced for significant matches at the Laithwaite Community Stadium, such as our New Year’s Day clash with Aldershot Town.

“This is not a decision the Club has taken lightly and not one we have taken without feedback from our supporters,” said Chief Executive John Katz. “Bob Raikes and his team of volunteers have truly been producing a masterclass programme for many years. Many of those same volunteers will be contributing to this new digital programme as well.”

The Club appreciates that some fans do like to have a keepsake from the match, so we have added our limited-edition print collectables into the matchday offerings.

Collectables will be available to purchase on matchday at the Laithwaite Community Stadium, with each player featuring once per season. The collectables will be match-specific and numbered with squad lists and information, with supporters encouraged to collect across the season. QR codes for the digital programme will be placed on the matchday collectables for league and cup matches.

The first two matchday collectables will be available FREE of charge at the upcoming pre-season friendlies against AFC Wimbledon and Sutton United; for the start of the season, they will transition to heavier-weight paper and will be available for £1.

The first player to feature on a matchday collectable is summer signing, Robbie Willmott.
