Club Statement | Revision in Matchday Migration Policy

After careful consideration and having listened to direct fan feedback and opinions from fans via representatives of the Supporters’ Liaison Group, the board have decided to implement a controlled relaxation of the current migration policy, subject to some specific conditions and a request of our supporters.

The current zoning and migration policy was brought in principally to ensure supporter safety, particularly in high-attendance games such as our local derby games against Aldershot Town, and to implement a policy that will be required when the Club is ultimately promoted to the EFL.

From Saturday's home fixture against Boreham Wood, the following policy revisions shall be introduced for the duration of the season unless there is specific communication to the contrary.

Only supporters with matchday tickets or season tickets for the MKJ Group Kingfield Road End will be able to access this area of the ground throughout the entirety of matches. Migration will be allowed in the following areas of the ground irrespective of the specific location specified on match day tickets and season tickets: Moaner's Corner and Seymours’ Community Stand (LGS). The Jewson Family Stand, given its fixed capacity, shall not be a free-migration area as all seats are assigned.

Our matchday steward team will provide clear guidance when any specific stand has reached capacity and will then direct supporters to move to another area of the ground.

In the case of migration during games to open seating in the Seymours’ Community Stand, Season Ticket Holders’ seats are clearly marked with their specific seat number and a sticker on their seat. We would ask supporters who are migrating into the Seymours’ Community Stand to avoid sitting in a reserved seat; all are clearly marked. Please be fully respectful of Season Ticket Holders' rights to access their nominated seat at any point during a game without challenge or incident.

Should you purchase a specific seat in the Seymours’ Community Stand online or on the door, you will have the option of sitting in your designated seat or taking any open seat. Again, we ask supporters to be respectful to those single-game ticket holders who wish to sit in the seats they have purchased.

Matchdays would not be possible at our club without the fantastic work of our Safety Officer and stewards. We would like to ask all supporters to behave respectfully towards our matchday stewards. Their main objective is to always ensure that all supporters can enjoy the matchday experience in a safe and respectful environment.

As always, thanks for your continued support of the Club. We have an important second half of the season ahead and count on you enjoying matchdays at the Laithwaite and getting right behind the team.

On a moving-forward basis, the Club will continue to sell Season Tickets as it has for this current season so that we may re-implement the restricted migration policy when deemed appropriate by the Club and the Safety Officer.
