Woking Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Finn Delap.
The 18-year-old centre back joins on loan until the end of the season from League One side Burton Albion.
After coming through the Burton academy, Delap spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Ilkeston Town, helping them to a seventh placed finish in the Southern League Premier Central.
He then joined Mickleover Sports in the same division for the 2023/24 season, playing a key part in a side fighting for promotion to the National League North. Recalled by the Brewers in February, Delap made his league debut off the bench in a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers, and in doing so, replicated his dad, Rory Delap, in playing for Burton Albion.
He also featured in the Burton squad victorious at Leyton Orient, coming off the bench near the end, but now joins Michael Doyle’s side looking to make an instant impact in the National League.
