The midfielder joined Woking from Norwegian side Stabaek in February 2024 on a deal until the end of the season. Edwards started his career in the Thornaby academy, earning a move to the Middlesbrough youth setup. His first appearances in senior football came at Darlington, later turning out for Spennymoor Town and re-joining Thornaby.
Curtis made his first move to Scandinavia in 2015, joining Swedish side Ytterhogdal. Impressing over two spells at the club, he was signed by Graham Potter’s Ostersund. Across four seasons with Ostersund, Edwards won the Swedish cup and was part of the side that defeated Galatasaray, PAOK and Arsenal in the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League.
After 105 appearances for Ostersund, Edwards joined fellow Swedish first tier side Djurgarden in 2019. He would make 53 appearances over three seasons, winning the title once, before joining Norwegian side Stabaek in 2022.
