The former Republic of Ireland midfielder joined the Cards on a free transfer until the end of the season in March 2024.
Born in Dublin, Judge came through the Blackburn Rovers academy, not making a league appearance for the then-Premier League club, but successful loan spells at Plymouth Argyle and Notts County saw the latter sign him permanently in January 2011.
Two seasons at Notts went by and Judge re-joined Blackburn in 2013, but struggled to break into the team and was instead loaned out to League One side Brentford. He joined the Bees permanently in 2014 after playing a key role in promotion to the Championship, spending five seasons with the club and playing nine times for his country due to his excellent form.
Three seasons with Ipswich Town followed before a move to League Two Colchester United in 2021. Following a triple rupture in his left knee in December 2022, Judge was ruled out for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, and has had a long road to recovery. Despite being released by Colchester in summer 2023, he has continued his rehabilitation with their under-21 side, and joined Michael Doyle’s Cards hoping to get some minutes in senior football under his belt towards the end of the 2023/24 season.
He re-joined during November 2024, looking to get more game time for the Cards.
