The Welling game on Saturday 2nd April saw us have 11 very special mascots from Gosden House, a Special Needs School in Bramley.
Below are some messages we have received from parents:
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for inviting children from Gosden House School to be mascot for the day. My son had a wonderful time and loves showing people his medal and won’t take it off. We felt extremely proud when he took captains hand. This experience showed us he is able to watch a live game of football something we wouldn’t have considered. We will be back in the future to watch home matches”
Louise & Paul Nash
“Eddie and the rest of the children from Gosden House had a great time and it was so nice to see all the children so enthusiastic and having so much fun and that is all down to your efforts... you were all brilliant and really given the children the “football bug”, Many thanks”
Rob & Clare
“Many Many thanks for inviting our children to be mascots at the match on Saturday. Everyone had the most amazing day and were made very welcome by everyone we met. Thank you for organising such a lovely and memorable afternoon. They were so excited to be part of a proper football match and to be given their own special kit to wear made it even more special.”
Michelle & Tim Stevens.
“I just wanted to write to say a HUGE thank you to you and your team for the Saturday just gone. The Gosden House children loved being mascots and they had such happy faces through the day. You were very patient through the day. Ryan was very popular with Sophie- he is a great lad. You the chairman and the players were so kind to let us be involved.”
And a special message from Stuart one of the children
“To Woking Football Club , Thank you very much for inviting me and my school to your ground. I enjoyed it very much and being a mascot”
