Woking Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Kane Ferdinand from East Thurrock United.
Kane, 24, came through the youth system at Southend and went on to make sixty-one first-team appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring 10 goals.
He moved to Peterborough in August 2012 for a £200,000 fee and played for Posh in the Championship and League One, totalling forty-six games.
Whilst with Peterborough, Ferdinand also had loan spells with Northampton Town, Luton and Cheltenham Town before leaving London Road by mutual consent in the summer of 2015, joining Dagenham & Redbridge.
Capped by the Republic of Ireland at under-18, under-19 and under-21 level, he played fourteen times for the Daggers before leaving towards the end of last season.
He signed for National League South side East Thurrock in September.
We welcome Kane to the club.
