A physical and athletic midfield player who joined the Cards in December 2021. He made 42 appearances in all competitions during his first 18 months with the club, scoring twice, including a particularly memorable strike against Wealdstone in a game shown live on BT Sport. His consistently strong performances were integral to Woking's impressive performances last season, particularly prior to his cruelly timed achilles injury suffered away to Chesterfield in February, which saw him ruled out for the rest of the campaign - but the Cards still went onto finish fourth and qualify for the National League play-offs for the first time.
He has been forced to overcome several injuries in his career. His previous club was Woking’s neighbours Aldershot Town. He played 34 times for the Shots in all competitions, scoring four goals, including two against the Cards in a 3-0 Boxing Day win in 2020, but he was sidelined for over six months after sustaining an injury against Bromley the following May.
A hugely promising career started in the Football League with Peterborough United. He made his senior debut in the Championship as a 16-year-old in November 2012 and went onto make 97 appearances for the club over a seven-year spell, including 75 in League One, scoring on eight occasions, with five of them in the league. But two separate ACL knee injuries delayed his progress and, following loans to Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City, he left permanently in the summer of 2019 – joining the Bantams on a permanent deal.
He made just nine appearances during his second year at Valley Parade and after more time on the sidelines joined Aldershot in December 2020, before moving to Woking 12 months later. He made 16 appearances during an injury-hit first six months at Kingfield but did provide a memorable late assist for the winning goal in a 2-1 home win over Wrexham, Darren Sarll’s first as Woking manager.
